Key Features of MDS-14

Elevating and Rotating Patient Chair

The MDS-14 features an elevating patient chair with a height adjustment from 48 cm to 63 cm, offering a 15 cm lift. This helps ensure correct positioning and patient comfort during examinations.

In addition, the chair rotates 360°, allowing flexible and easy patient positioning.

Fixed and Sliding Tabletop Options

The MDS-14 is available in two main configurations, so you can choose the option that best suits your workflow:

  • MDS14: Elevating chair with a fixed-height tabletop for one instrument

  • MDS14S: Elevating chair with a fixed-height sliding tabletop for two instruments, improving instrument access and efficiency

Integrated Illumination

The unit includes a column with an overhead LED lamp and adjustable brightness. As a result, it provides clear and precise lighting for examination tasks.

Chart Projector Support

The MDS-14 comes with support for a chart projector, making comprehensive eye testing simple and effective.

Instrument Power Management

  • Integrated adjustable power transformers support slit lamps and ophthalmometers.

  • A 230V outlet powers additional instruments such as auto lensmeters and auto phoropters.

This ensures that all instruments remain powered and ready for use.

The MDS-14 is available in various colors for metal parts and tabletops. This makes it easy to match the unit to your practice’s interior.

Right–Left Conversion

The unit can be converted from right-handed to left-handed use directly at the customer site, allowing flexibility for different practitioners.
