MIDO eyewear show 2023

MIDO 2023, the 51st edition of the global eyewear show, took place from February 4-6, 2023, at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan. This event saw a strong return to pre-pandemic levels, with over 35,000 industry professionals attending, representing a 60% increase from the previous year. The show featured more than 1,000 exhibitors from all sectors of the eyewear supply chain, including machinery, lenses, and frames. International participation was significant, with 72% of exhibitors from abroad, reflecting MIDO’s global reach.

One of the standout themes of MIDO 2023 was sustainability. A highlight was the introduction of the CSE (Certified Sustainable Eyewear) Award, recognizing companies that demonstrated excellence in sustainable practices. Additionally, the event emphasized future trends in eyewear design, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, and inclusivity.
